I can’t rate Brown Roofing highly enough. Jesse was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. He took the time to walk me through each step of the process, explained all the considerations in plain, easy-to-understand terms, and (most importantly) gave me honest options. His transparency and integrity immediately set Brown Roofing apart. While every other company insisted that a full roof replacement was the only solution, Jesse offered a targeted repair as a viable alternative to stop the leak and give us time to prepare for a full replacement down the line. The other guys were all very sales-heavy and each one pressured to sign and pay in full on the spot (like offering "discounts" that would expire once they left, or warning that the job would be delayed by 2-3 weeks if I didn't secure the "last spot" on the schedule). Jesse was the complete opposite. He wouldn't even take a deposit until they showed up to start work. To me, this spoke volumes about how he does business. We ultimately decided on a full replacement, and even if Brown Roofing’s price had been higher than the other quotes (it was actually slightly lower), choosing them still would have been an easy decision. The crew was fast, efficient, and professional, and the finished roof looks fantastic. The cleanup deserves special mention: it was absolutely immaculate. There wasn’t a single scrap of debris or stray nail left behind, which was very much appreciated. Overall, this was as painless and stress-free as a full roof replacement can be. I enthusiastically recommend Brown Roofing to anyone looking for honest, excellent workmanship.

Brown Roofing is an amazing company. They started on a Monday morning precisely at 7am when they said they were going to start and finished on Tuesday afternoon. We got several quotes from other companies and they were the lowest by a pretty big margin. They are totally transparent. I knew exactly what was going to happen and when it was going to happen. I could not believe they got our roof done in two days.. totally amazing!! The crew was amazing. They were totally professional and worked nonstop for two days. They also left our property as clean if not cleaner than before they arrived. Jesse was the person I had contact with. He is amazing, very helpful very professional very knowledgeable. I would recommend Brown Roofing over any other company in Arizona. I give them a 10 out of 10!!!!

He took the time to explain all the things we needed and the extra steps he would take to make sure we didn’t have leaks in the future. The crew got everything done very promptly and cleaned up everything after like they had never been there. I talked to several roofing contractors and Craig took the most time to cover what he was going to do, and came in with the best price as well. Highly recommend Brown roofing!

regino cube3 November 2024Recently had roof completely redone by Brown Roofing. A bit of a coordinated effort with a few other contractors, as there were ancient relics on the roof as well that needed to go. I did get a few bids for the work, and Brown was not the cheapest - however i do believe the success or failure of a roof has much to do with the quality of the installation. Their workmanship warranty was also the best, which speaks toward the confidence they have in their work. For this job, Jesse was the mastermind. He spent a few hours with me prior to the work, ensuring i was comfortable with the service Brown provides. Never once felt pressured. His crew took their time to make sure the job was done right. Jesse and Brown Roofing are fully deserving of their rating!

Alycat X.19 June 2023Last week, Brown Roofing replaced our shingle roof and installed foam on the flat roof portion. From the very start, it was a pleasure working with those folks. Debbie, Craig, and Jesse were all knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions/concerns with the process. Choosing the right roofing company can be a daunting experience and is a big commitment. Can't recommend Brown enough. For the first time in years, we're excited for the monsoons! Bring it on, Mother Nature!

Craig and his team were fantastic to work with through the whole process and accommodated me working with a solar company I had chosen in advance. The estimate was the most detailed of the 4 companies I contacted and the choice of materials was reassuring. Price paid was price quoted. Look no further than Brown Roofing!

Alexander Smith15 May 2022If you are looking for the cheapest roofing job, look elsewhere. If you a looking for a roofing company that has lots of ads and charges a ton, look elsewhere. If are looking for a roofing company that quotes you low and then adds on thousands of dollars during the job, look elsewhere. If you want a very fair price on very good roofing job check Brown Roofing out. Brown did my shingle and roll roofing job. It was a significant 5 ½ day job including decking and facia. What Craig quoted was the same as the final bill. There were no upcharges. The crew were thorough and detailed. They also cleaned up the site each day. Craig (owner) started the job, taking time to walk me through the whole job, continually asking if I had any more questions. He was on site at least once a day. They will be my first call on my next roofing job.

The Estimator/Contracts person, Jesse Coder, was a responsive and good communicator. The crew leader, Julio, who has 11 years with Brown, and the crew, did an excellent job and left everything cleaned up. Debbie in the office was huge help with the solar panel removal. There were no added costs, and my final payment was actually less than I expected. I can recommend Brown Roofing without hesitation. CED 11.18.21

Daniel F.17 October 2021Brown Roofing did an amazing job replacing our roof. Craig and the crew arrived on time and got right to work. They were the only company who offered to install a ridge venting system, instead of the turbines. The ridge vents look much better than the old, outdated turbine vents. They also installed/replaced our skylight with a better quality one, and it looks amazing. Overall I am very happy with the work they did and the professionalism that I experienced with everyone involved. Highly recommended!

They cleaned up every day for a total of 3 days. Craig always came by to check on the progress. Debbie, his office manager, was great too. We're very happy with our roof, thanks Craig :-)

Fox Noble26 February 2021Craig was referred to me by a friend who had their roof redone. Last year I had a leak in my roof and Craig & his team did the repair. Craig’s team was very professional & answered any questions I had. At that time I also had Craig give me a quote to repair my pouch roof. Today Craig and his team were back again, this time for my pouch. It turned out fantastic, I’m so pleased! Craig goes above and beyond & his team are the best. Mike Bast2 October 2020It was time for the roof to be replaced, as it had reached 25 years old since it was built. We bought our First and Final Home and figured this was going to be the biggest investment going forward that had to be good quality. The builder appeared to take many short cuts in the roof so I wanted a good Roofer that would actually make my home better than original! Found many roofers in Az that had good reviews and quality work but for some reason Brown Roofing had reviews that just spoke to me. Courteous, timely, efficient, quality craftsmanship and no up charging. In talking to Jesse at the first quote you just felt like old school Customer Service was there. They knew their stuff, stood by their craft and didn't do upcharges for things like fascia board needing repaired or replaced and they painted all of the pieces that needed to be repaired (with supplied original paint). No one did that with out a separate charge!. After working in the Architecture industry for almost 30 years I knew what good Flashing looks like! My home was so lacking in flashing I just freaked out every time it rained! Brown picked up on every Flashing scenario and I tell you what...this house is not going to leak! We are ready for the Monsoons if they ever come back. If you want top quality craftsmanship, value and real old time Customer Service look no further. I looked at a lot of top end roofers and found that Brown just seemed to capture the Customer service High point. Brown is not the cheapest and certainly not the most expensive, by a long shot. They are what you want....a great, reliable, craftsman oriented, old school customer service Family owned Business that provides exceptional service and value at a fair price...that's what you want!!

Daniel K.22 July 2019We had our roof replaced by Craig and his company last week. This is not something I took lightly. We're are literally talking about the roof over my family's head. I had several estimates and spent a lot of time taking to people who knew the industry. I chose Craig because he's local, runs a family business, and was willing to stand by his work. The price wasn't the cheapest we were quoted but also not the highest by a long shot. The job started on time and finished ahead of schedule. Craig's workers were professional and took time to clean up after themselves. We did have an issue with my AC unit blowing a fuse twice. You can tell a lot about a person how they handle adverse situations. We realized the AC was out after-hours. I reached out to Craig and he was all over it. The AC was up and running quickly and Craig took care of it. He was contrite and did whatever he needed to make sure it was fixed. That's good customer service. I recommend Craig and Brown Roofing to anyone looking for a new roof.

Steve C.15 December 2018I can't say enough good things about Brown Roofing. No, he was not the lowest quote of my 5 quotes. However, his quote was "all inclusive." The other quotes I received were "contingent on not finding any other problems after the roof was stripped." Craig Brown made me feel comfortable that the price quoted was the price I was going to pay. He took the time to walk me around my home pointing out exactly what he was doing, and was the only roofer who also explained WHY he was doing it (ex. Why he was replacing the whirlybirds with a ridge vent system). His crew arrived on time and got right to work. I was very impressed with the crew. Not only were they efficient in what they were doing, but many times throughout the day they cleaned the worksite, never letting it get messy. Chris, I'm assuming a job supervisor, kept me informed and answered any questions I had, pointing out the work they were doing, such as replacing facia boards and cutting in the new ridge vents. Needless to say, 3 full days later, the job was complete. They cleaned up, ran a giant magnet over my backyard and driveway to make sure no stray nails were left behind. I highly recommend Brown Roofing.

Craig gave me a fair estimate and went over the rest of my roof and what should be done now and what I could wait on. The patio repair was done professionally and on time. There was no garbage or debris left in my yard. Debbie, in the office, was responsive and helpful every step of the way. These guys almost make me wish I had more roof issues just to hire them again!

Paul G.26 April 2014I needed a new roof after the hail storm of 2010 and a coworker referred Brown Roofing so I had Craig come give me an estimate..he was my third estimate and his estimate came in under the other 2 with more options(adding ridge vents and extra venting). I decided to go with his company and I couldn't have been more satisfied. They did a beautiful job and did it very fast. They changed lots of rotten wood and fascia boards and everything was cleaned up after each day. It was a total stress free experience. After 3 years since the new roof.. I have had zero problems and I love the way it looks on my home. I've referred Brown Roofing to anyone I know that mentioned they needed a roof. If you need a roof or any repairs don't hesitate to give him a call.

Brown Roofing (BR) is exceptional in so many ways. After remodeling our kitchen and removing the fireplace and chimney, the roof patch completed by our remodeling contractor continued to leak periodically. We decided it was time to have the problem fixed by a professional roofer and obtained several ************ stood out with a creative and cost-effective solution, using 4-by-8-foot sheets of insulation board rather than incurring the expense of bringing out a foam truck. *****, the owner, was very hands-on throughout the entire process. He even personally handled the final touch-*** to ensure the roof coating was applied properly. We were impressed by his attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to doing the job right. R.B. M.21 July 2026I have recommended Brown Roofing since they replaced our roof in 2018. Recently my elderly neighbor had some serious roof leaks. She thought her roof had been done many years ago. I recommended Brown Roofing. Brown Roofing came and looked at her roof, and said that everything looked like it was a RECENT roofing job. They recommended that she find the paperwork (and warranty), and get the roofers back out that did her new roof. We helped her find the paperwork. The previous roofers gave her a 3 year warranty (WHO in the roofing business only gives a 3 year warranty?!?!) It had been 3 years and one month since her new roof was installed. Long story - but the original roofers were total jerks. AND... they would not come back out (three no-shows) to fix her roof, even though she was willing to pay. We called Brown Roofing to come back out and do the repairs. She realized her roof was out of warranty, and she was willing to pay. She just wanted the water to stop coming through her air returns! Brown Roofing came to her house, did the repairs, and DID NOT charge her!! She insisted on paying them, as they did not do the original roof. They said the repairs were minor, and they were happy to help. These folks are just GOOD, honest, kind people. And, I still think they are an EXCELLENT roofing company. We have had our roof for eight years now - no leaks, no problems. We decided to go with Brown Roofing and couldn't be happier with our choice. They were easy to get ahold of, easy to schedule, showed up on time (usually a little early...what a breath of fresh air) and did a fantastic job on the roof in less that 2 days (smaller house). Once they were done, they cleaned up the surroundings so well, it was impossible to tell they were even there except for the new roof. We would highly recommend you give them a call. With the rain on June 1st the issue was tested and is COMPLETELY fixed. Craig is honest and just happens to be a nice guy. I will always support family owned local businesses. Most of the roof is flat, but the pitched area is covered with curved concrete tiles in front and shingles in back; the shingled area drops to straight planking to join the flat areas. The portion of the flat roof over the garage began leaking -- again, "again" because, during the 43 years we have owned the house, it has been a source of problems as have some of the other flat and tiled areas. For that reason, we have been unhappy with the two prior roofing companies we have used. Brown Roofing came highly recommended by friends, and we are so grateful for that recommendation because Brown Roofing is superb, fully justifying the BBB A+ rating. We insist that any contractor be licensed, bonded and insured, and we prefer a local business with years of experience and with a high BBB rating. Brown Roofing met those criteria. ***** Brown met with us. The quoted price was a fair one, and the contract was straightforward. Under ******* close supervision, the work exceeded our expectations in quality and care, even including the clean-up. And honesty: Brown Roofing went beyond what was called for by the contract such as replacing some of the tiles and other repairs, and yet ***** refused our offer that he be paid for the extra work, all of which had been approved by us before it was done. Although the quote was higher than 2 of the other 3 quotes, I felt comfortable with *****, his knowledge and the roofing products they use. He pointed out things like having the DirecTV dish moved off the roof, that the other companies did not mention. The crew, led by *****, showed up on time, respected the property, performed top quality workmanship and cleaned up at the end of each day. The owner, ***** Brown, was also involved in the project staging the debris trailer and dropping off supplies. They went over and above to insure rotted lumber was replaced and painted the fascia boards. Excellent communication from ******, in the office, on scheduling the job and taking care of the contract. i was very impressed and happy with the finished roof.
